WTHP relies on the support and generosity of friends like you. As a collection of volunteers, nearly all of our funds go directly towards the health, mobility, and joy of the children of St. Vincent’s. This includes buying medicine and food, getting our doctors, nurses, and medical service teams to Haiti, and providing tuition assistance for the kids.
You also have the option to donate to our Travel Fund. St. Mary’s Cathedral in Memphis has created the Drew Woodruff Honorary Travel Fund in honor of The Rev. Drew Woodruff to support the cost of WTHP team members traveling to Haiti.. It costs about $1300 per trip to buy a plane ticket and stay in the guest house for a week. Team members pay all their own expenses. If you would like to designate your gift to the Travel Fund, which assists team members in paying for plane tickets and lodging, please leave a note in the comment box below or on your check.
Donations to the travel fund will be separated from donations to support the school itself, including purchases of food or medicine for the children.
The West Tennessee Haiti Partnership is an agency of the Episcopal Diocese of West Tennessee, which is a 501(c)3 organization. Therefore all donations are tax-deductible.
